James T. "Terry/Jack" Lemmons
1950 - 2021
James Terrance Lemmons "Terry/Jack", 70, passed away on Jan. 10, 2021. Born Feb. 26, 1950 in Greensboro, NC. A resident of the Virginia Peninsula for over 60 years, a 1969 graduate of Kecoughtan High School, and resident of Poquoson, VA for 35 years.
Survived by his wife Judy of 48.5 years; 4 children Joy (Clesson Paet), Jon (Kim), Johanna (Kenneth Harris), Joshua (Emily); 20 grandchildren; 2 brothers Jeffrey A. Lemmons (Laura) and Barry W. Lemmons (Wanda).
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Hampton Memorial Gardens. All COVID mandates and social distancing should be followed. Arrangements and heartfelt guidance by Claytor Rollins Funeral Home. Online condolences to claytorrollins.com.

The first of the Fallen Warriors to depart for eternity in 2021 (that we are aware of). My heart is heavy for this Classmate's loss and for this season of sorrow and loss for his family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace.

Terry, and I did a lot of growing up together in high school. I remember going out and learning how to drive with him. As was true for me just hanging together. Some where between our junior and senior year we kind of lost touch with each other. Rest well my friend. Wish I had done a better job of keeping up with you.
