Mary Beth Seitz left us much too early. She was, as I recall, a sweet and lovely girl. She was in some of my classes at KHS, the details of those have faded with time, but I can still see her sitting at one of those desks, a small girl, with a smile on her face. When I think of this saying, "tis sweet to be remembered" I think of Mary Beth.
Beth was a wonderful person. She, Dianne Charles, Linda Cabeca and I had some fun times together in both Junior High and High School. When she got married, she was a beatiful bride and when I saw her again, she was 8 months pregnant with her first child and she was just glowing. She was so excited about being a mama. Then less than two months after her son was born she was taken from us. I've thought of her many times through the years and feel so sad knowing that her son never got to know what a wonderful mother he had.
