I remember Dwight very well. I even remember him from Miss Robinson's Chemistry class at Syms when we were in the 9th grade. And there's some vague memory about me and another guy driving to see a basketball game in Williamsburg. Dwight had just gotten his license you see, and this was the first his father had really let him "drive" anywhere.I spoke to Dwight for the the last time when we were organizing the last Reunion; I had called to chat him up about coming to the events but he wouldn't commit to attend. I wasn't able to attend Dwight's funeral, but I did make the Visitation.

Whipple, as we so lovingly called him, was a dispatcher out at NASA and worked with my mom for years. He was a very good friend to her and our family and made several trips to see mom and Rus (KHS 1969) in Cape Cod...He is missed and has been 5 years already...he was a kind and loving soul.
