Craig H. Williams, 73, died Friday, October 4, 2024. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts into a military family, he was an avid traveler, having hitchhiked across the United States and had gone backpacking in Europe. He discovered a passion early on in life for music and surfing, eventually trading in the surfboard for golf clubs. He was an Alum of Madison College and then returned to the Peninsula area to lead a successful career in banking for 30 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Harry O. Williams and Judith L. Williams; he is survived by his son, Michael S. Williams, his daughter, Meagan L. Williams; his two brothers, his sister, and his many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

This is such sorrowful news. So unexpected. Craig was a friend and a genuinely nice person. Had that little special smile. Craig would attend reunions and I would connect with him there. So sorry for his loss and thinking of his family and many friends.
