Bonnie Bridger (Mittelmaier) (1969)

Another Classmate gone too soon.  I reconnected with Debbie and her husband Jack Carter back around our 40th Reunion.  Debbie had a stroke, early on and had issues associated with that event.  It was difficult for her to talk alot.  Jack shared with me that Debbie loved attending our KHS Reunions and was very excited that we were having another one and couldn't wait to attend.  Jack said it might be her last but that he would be bringing her and I was so touched and happy that this would be the case.  She looked like she was just soaking in all of the stuff going on, I can only hope it was all she looked forward to and more.  At that time, Jack donated 2 very large KHS banners to us for our Reunion and we have used them every occasion.  We always think of Jack and Debbie when we put those banners up.  Jack passed away some years ago and we lost touch with Debbie.  I have thought of her often and felt that it must have been a terrible blow for her to lose him at this time and age.  I hope they are reunited, in Heaven, with perfect heavenly bodies, rejoicing in their special reunion and with all of the others, family, friends, pets, and planning a big one for us all when we arrive.  RIP Debbie and Jack.
