ROUTTEN, Donald W., 59, died April 18, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Paula; sons, Sean and Chris; two grandchildren; mother, Betty; and brothers, Ronald and Mark. Tampa, FL area.
This sad news has really taken me back, thinking about Donnie and those years at Benjamin Syms and then KHS. Such a sweet boy, quick to laugh. Wish he could have attended the most recent reunion that we had in October, 2009. Lot's of fun and friends, he would have enjoyed it, I know. The sun does set but not on those memories we hold dear.
I am sadden and shocked to learn of Donnie's passing. There were a significant number of us "local Fox Hillians" that attended Francis Asbury Elementary, Benjamin Syms, and Kecoughtan together, Donnie and his brother Ronnie were in that group. I have known Donnie since our bicycle days. As a result of this website there are a handful of folks that I have corresponded with...Donnie was one. RIP
