Tommy helped me bring David (as a baby) in for "show and tell" for Home Economics class Senior year. I always smile when I think of Tommy to this day. And I get to see his family at Childress Auto at corner of Fox Hill Rd. at the Farm Fresh Plaza. Great Family. Miss ya Tommy...see you when I get there.
I still miss our conversations. Just a genuinely nice guy! When he was running his dad's gas station at Willow Oaks, I used to stop by and chat. WSe muyst have been in our late twenties or early thirties. One night we were talking and a car drove in. It blew us both away. In the car were: Lynn Pistole, Buggy Langley, Ashby Smith, and Joe Richardson. It was like a moment from high school frozen in time.
