Gabriele Tallent Obituary
Gabriele "Gabby" Tallent, 73, passed away peacefully at home on October 5th 2023, after her battle with Glioblastoma.
She was born May 23rd 1950, in Frankfurt, Germany. After moving to the states with her parents, Hildegard and William F. Parks, she resided in Hampton, Virginia, for over 60 years.
Gabby was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with those that she loved.
Her spirit shined brightly through her acts of kindness as she always cared immensely for others. Her strong faith kept her essence bright and it never dimmed even in her last months.
Gabby's beautiful soul and infectious laugh will never be forgotten.
"Let all that you do be done in love" 1 Corinthians 16:14.
Gabby is survived by her children, John B. Andrews and Edward J. Andrews (daughter in love-Mina); her grandchildren, Brittany Andrews, Shayna Andrews (Jared Hughes), Eddie J. Andrews, Jr., Lizbeth Andrews, and Jordan Nassrineboo (grandson by love); her great-grandhildren, Charlize McFarlin, Riley Gordon, and Baker Hughes; her brothers, Karl W. Parks (Wanda) and Garry F. Parks (Eula); her nieces, Katrina Parks and Leah Parks; her nephew, Karl W. Parks, II (Jennifer); and her lifelong best friend/sister, Savannah Azimi.
A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Friday, October 13, 2023 in the R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends after the service at Providence Freewill Baptist Church, 731 Little Back River Road, Hampton.
