Julie's sister Donna Garbarini Jenkins notified me of this very sad news regarding Julie.  I remember Julie very well.  She was such a pretty and lively girl, so full of energy and life.  Donna said that even though they moved to SC the year Julie graduated in '68, often times they would pull out their KHS annuals and have so much fun taking a "walk down memory lane".  I can relate!  Julie has left us too soon.

I seriously lost my breath when I read of Julie's passing. Although I never could catch up with her, I thought of Julie often. We had some of the best times ever, and I loved her dearly.  One of the hardest things in my life was when Col. Garbarini was transfered, and my best friend had to leave along with her amazing family. No one was as beautiful as Julie... on the outside, as well as on the inside. A bit of my heart was taken tonight when I learned that Julie is gone. So sad...
