YORKTOWN - Judy Harmon Mann, 66, died on Friday, October 28, 2016 at home after a long illness with her loving husband, Malcolm, by her side. She was a native of Hampton and a resident of Yorktown for 22 years. Judy was an eligibility worker for York-Poquoson Social Services for 30 years retiring in December, 2009. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Judy was preceded in death by Her parents, Clyde and Hazel Harmon. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Malcolm Forrest Mann; sister, Geraldine Dubberly (Bill); nephew, Robert Dubberly (Grace); great-nephews, Hugh, Grant, and Robert II: brother-in-law, Duke (Claudia) and their children Amy and Jeff; and her beloved poodle Chloe. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1, 12:30 - 2:00 PM, immediately followed by a funeral service led by Rev Dale Coffey, all at Maranatha Baptist Church, Yorktown. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Parkinson Disease Association. Online condolences to claytorrollins.com . Bonnie Bridger (Mittelmaier) (1969)

I was very sorry to read this sad news.  Judy's husband, Malcolm, shared that they had met on a blind date at KHS, they were a couple from high school and have been together ever since.  It sounded like they had a really nice life together.  I can only imagine how much she will be missed.  Rest In Peace, Judy.
