This is such a sad occasion that I share this unexpected and sorrowful news about the loss of one of our 1968 Classmates, Sarah Partridge. I received a note from another Classmate, a very dear friend of Sarah's. They met at KHS in 1966 and became fast friends, continuing to maintain contact until Sarah passed away. Sarah, by all accounts, had been living a successful and full life in Biloxi, Mississippi. She became ill in late December, 2018, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in mid January and passed away on January 30, 2019. Sarah did not want a service and there was no obituary. I remember her well, very full of life and active in school activities. It's especially poignant, to me as we are on the threshold of our 50th Reunion Celebration, that she and others have gone on.

It is so very sad to hear about Sarah’s death. She lived next door to me on Langley. She was always friendly and very active at Kecoughtan. Lost track of her when we went off to college. Cancer is such a terrible disease and so sorry to hear she died from it. I will always remember fond memories of her during high school. Thoughts and prayers to family and friends.
