HAMPTON - Tony Carl Woodard, 58, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010. Born in Wilson, N.C., he was the son of Carl and Doris Woodard of Hampton.
Tony graduated from KHS in 1969 and had served in the USAF as a corpsman from '69-'73. He then joined the Hampton Fire Department, working as a paramedic and firefighter from 1973-1993. For the past six years, he was a resident of Governors Inn Assisted Living.
Tony is survived by his mother, Doris Woodard; wife, Terry Lynn Woodard; sons, Aaron Woodard and Daniel Woodard; brothers, Gregory Woodard, Steven Woodard, and Mike Spivey; and two grandsons.

A graveside service will be conducted, with fire department honors, at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at Parklawn Memorial Park, by the Rev. Edmond Freeborn.
