HAMPTON - Douglas (Dougie) Eugene Watson passed away Saturday, June 1st 2013 at age 62 in San Antonio, Texas, where he resided. He was a member of Pine Chapel Baptist Church. Dougie, the son of Douglas and Alline Watson of Hampton, Virginia, was born in Fort Bragg, NC. He is survived by his wife Linda Kay Watson, stepdaughters Laila Kemp-Blarek and Leaha Kemp, and grandchildren Zack, Mykayla, and Liam. Also left behind are his loving sisters Patty Lewis (Darcy), Linda Mosedale (Lee), and Tina Stillwell (Jeff) plus nieces Amy and Rachel, nephews Matt, Cory, and Adam, and many aunts and uncles. There will be a memorial service at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 5th at Pine Chapel Baptist Church on 1544 West Queen Street in Hampton, Virginia 23666 - the service will be conducted by Rev. Frank Earwood.
