Bonnie Bridger (Mittelmaier) (1969)

A sad thing, another of our teachers, our leaders, has passed away.  Shirley Booth, KHS Dean of Girls, what a book she could write if she had a mind to.  What an interesting and full life she lived, another one of the Greatest Generation moved onto Heaven.  She certainly earned her wings and halo, the untold numbers of students she helped, mentored, guided.  I saw her about 7 years ago at a KHS Reunion, not one of ours, and hugged her neck and told her how sorry I was that we probably made her life a living hell sometimes.  She just laughed and laughed and told me that she considered us all her "angels" not a "devil" among us.  I think she really meant it.  Many will have a soft memory of her and those days long ago, if it is a hard memory, well let it go and be glad she was in our lives.  Bonnie
