James Bohnaker

After graduation, went to University of Virginia majoring in Psychology and Environmental Sciences. During this stay, spent two years on my belly swimming constantly for the UVA Swim Team, and proud to say I lettered as a result, and enjoy going back occasionally for reunions, and seeing the (now old) folks who were my teammates. Went to the College of William and Mary for Law School as a postponement to facing the rigors of real life, graduated, set up a private practice for five years. and during that time, am honored to say, assisted many of my Kecoughtan friends with various legal matters that came up.

In 1982, became Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Hampton, and continued that career for fourteen years! During that time as well, was honored to help many of my classmates with various matters that came before the Courts.

In 1995, I was elected Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Hampton, and served in that position until January, 2004. Since then, I relocated, and am currently the Public Service Manager and Legal Adviser to the Loudoun County Circuit Court Clerk's Office, where I will remain until I retire from the Court System.
